Cryptologic requires that the Cryptologic licensee submits for approval all his advertising, marketing, promotional ideas and material, before it can be used.
Here again, you can see the strong Russian Mafia influence. Their request is totally illegal in most civilized countries, but probably not in Russia. The penalty for not getting the approval from the crooks is immediate termination of the license agreement. It's no wonder that they are losing all their real licensees, and that new ones don't want to touch them.

THIS SOFTWARE SUPPLY AND SUPPORT AGREEMENT
(c) Marketing and Promotion of the Custom Client Software Application
(iii) Customer agrees that all marketing and promotional efforts shall be created, implemented and paid for by Customer and shall be subject to IOL’s approval before being implemented.
(iv) Before the Commencement Date, IOL will provide Customer with its standard guidelines as to acceptable marketing and promotional efforts, and Customer agrees that it will abide by them (as amended or supplemented from time to time by IOL).
Customer shall submit any proposed advertising or promotion to IOL, by facsimile transmission, for its approval as to location and content at least three (3) business days before such approval is required. IOL shall notify its disapproval, if any, within three (3) business days of receiving notice from Customer, in which case, Customer shall not obligate itself to the proposed advertising or promotion.
(vii) Customer acknowledges that this Agreement may be terminated by IOL in accordance with the termination provisions set out in subparagraph 9(a)(i) below in the event that the advertising guidelines in force from time to time are not complied with, advertising or promotion is undertaken without IOL’s prior written consent.
9. TERM AND TERMINATION
(c) Termination by IOL – In addition to any other remedies provided in this Agreement, IOL shall have the right to terminate this Agreement during its initial term or any renewal term upon notice to the Customer, in the event of any of the following:
(v) Failure to Observe Advertising Guidelines – immediately in the event the Customer fails to observe the advertising guidelines in force from time to time or engages in any advertising or promotion without obtaining the consent of IOL.
